GRASS Group from Germany and GARDENA from Italy jointly released a new generation of garden lawn mower seats
On July 15, 2024, GRASS Group from Germany and GARDENA from Italy jointly released a new generation of garden lawn mower seats, which are made of 100% recyclable high rebound PU microporous elastomer.
The material has a density of 280 kg/m ³, can absorb 65% vibration continuously for 8 hours, and has a UV resistance of up to 1000 hours. It has passed REACH and RoHS certifications. The first batch of orders will be matched with 2025 robotic lawn mowers, which will be sold to 12 countries in North America and Europe.
According to market research firm Omedia, there is an annual demand for 4.8 million sets of commercial garden seats worldwide. By replacing traditional PVC/EVA with PU, carbon emissions per unit can be reduced by 40%, and it is expected that the penetration rate will exceed 55% by 2027.
